Indiana provides many opportunities to own water front property, some within driving distance of Indianapolis and Bloomington.  While some of these locations (such as Geist) are at the higher end of the price spectrum, there are also more affordable options for a lake front home.  Some locations to consider are:

Geist Reservoir (Hamilton County)

Geist Reservoir is one of the most sought-after destinations for waterfront living near Indianapolis. Located in Hamilton County, this 1,900-acre reservoir provides a mix of luxury homes and more affordable options along its shoreline.
